Eve to star in semi-autobiographical comedy for ABC

Eve has signed up to star in a semi-autobiographical comedy on ABC.

The US rapper is developing the new sitcom with executive producer Aaron Kaplan for the network.
Eve will star and also work as a non-writing executive producer on the project for the 2014-15 development season.

The currently-untitled series will reportedly focus on interracial relationships.

Eve previously starred for three seasons on UPN's sitcom Eve as a fashion designer, while she has guest-starred in Glee and appeared in the films Barbershop, Barbershop 2 and xXx.

The artist is engaged to British millionaire entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper.
